A 10 mm and 5mm surgical incisions are made in the abdomen as needed and procedure completed using 5mm laparoscopic hand instruments/vessel sealer and Radiofrequency cutter. The entire procedure is done under General Anaesthesia.

Overnight fasting with light and intake of easily digestible food on the previous day of surgery is advised. The patient has to be preferably admitted the night before surgery after a full blood workup and a Pre-anesthetic checkup by the anesthetist.
The procedure might take 90 mins to 180 mins for the procedure along with the induction of anesthesia. After the procedure, the patient is shifted to SICU or MICU immediately and is made to stay there for 8 hours post surgery.
Pain management is taken care along with intensive monitoring. Later on, the patient would be shifted into a suitable room selected by the patient. expected hospital stay is around 48 to 72 hours.
IV fluids and injectable medication are given for 24 hours, orally liquid diet given after 8 hours of surgery. Once oral liquids are well tolerated, soft-diet is provided for breakfast the next day.The patient follows up with the doctor after 5 to 6 days with a checkup by the consultant at OPD.
